Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has released a new single titled “I Know Who I Be,” featuring South African music producer JAZZWRLD and artiste GL_CeeJay.
The release comes shortly after Davido’s appearance at activities surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking the beginning of what the Grammy-nominated singer describes as a new chapter in his music career after more than 15 years in the industry.
Produced by JAZZWRLD and GL_CeeJay, “I Know Who I Be” blends Afrobeats with South Africa’s emerging 3-Step sound, combining energetic percussion, bass-driven rhythms and reflective lyrics centred on identity, resilience and personal growth.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Davido said it serves as a reminder of staying connected to one’s roots despite success.

The song is now available on major streaming platforms worldwide and is accompanied by an official music video.
