Ghanaian-American music sensation, MOLIY, has released her highly anticipated new single and music video, “Jetski (FRIKI),” featuring Dominican rapper and singer Yailin la Más Viral and French-Congolese star Theodora.

The upbeat, multilingual track brings together three rising female stars from different parts of the world in what MOLIY describes as the ultimate “baddie anthem” for the summer season.

Packed with infectious rhythms, energetic hooks and a fusion of African, Caribbean and European influences, “Jetski (FRIKI)” serves as the third single from MOLIY’s forthcoming mixtape, BADDIES ❤️ MOLIY, scheduled for release later this summer.

The accompanying music video was filmed in the Dominican Republic, where MOLIY teamed up with Yailin la Más Viral to capture the vibrant spirit of the song. Theodora’s contribution appears exclusively on streaming platforms, adding another international dimension to the record.

The video showcases elements of Dominican culture, featuring scenes of street dancing, motorcycles, beachside celebrations and jet ski rides. It also highlights the diverse backgrounds of the artists through visual symbols, including the Dominican flag, Ghanaian-inspired accessories worn by MOLIY and Jamaican-themed costumes worn by dancers.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the project, MOLIY said the collaboration was designed to celebrate female confidence and cultural diversity.

“‘Jetski (FRIKI)’ is the ultimate baddie anthem. Bringing together Ghanaian, Dominican and French-Congolese influences, we tapped into baddie energy by fusing our cultures to create a summer banger that’s impossible not to move to. From the first beat, it’s all about confidence, energy and whining your waist,” she said.

The release comes on the heels of the massive success of MOLIY’s global hit, “Shake It To The Max (FLY) (Remix),” featuring Jamaican stars Shenseea, Skillibeng and Silent Addy. The song surpassed one billion streams worldwide and earned recognition as one of the biggest songs of the summer by Spotify and TikTok in 2025.

MOLIY’s growing international profile has also seen her collaborate with renowned artistes including Ciara, Sean Paul and Tyla. She is currently touring North America alongside Jamaican dancehall star Skillibeng on a 20-city tour.

The singer has continued to break new ground for Ghanaian music on the global stage. She recently became the first Ghanaian artiste to receive a nomination at the American Music Awards and also secured two MTV Video Music Awards nominations.

In addition, MOLIY emerged as Spotify’s most-streamed Ghanaian artiste of 2025 and was honoured with the World Artist of the Year award at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

With the release of “Jetski (FRIKI),” MOLIY further cements her status as one of Africa’s fastest-rising global music stars, while continuing to push the boundaries of international collaboration and cultural exchange through music.
