Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and record executive, Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide, has announced his concert at London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena.
The show is scheduled for March 25, 2027.
The ‘Durosoke’ hitmaker in an announcement video shared on X on Monday, was seen painting what appeared to be the iconic arena, with the concert date displayed in the artwork.
The singer said there will be an “artiste pre-sale” for tickets starting at 10 am on October 21 while the general sale for tickets will begin at the same time on October 23.
“Olamide, live at the O2, London! Artist presale: Wednesday, 21 October at 10am. General sale: Friday, 23 October at 10am,” the post reads.
Several Nigerian artistes have sold out London’s O2 Arena, reflecting the global rise of Afrobeats. Wizkid made history as the first African artiste to sell out the venue and has since achieved the feat multiple times.
Other Nigerian stars, including Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema, have also headlined shows at the iconic arena and sold out performances.
Olamide is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s biggest rappers and has earned numerous awards and nominations.
He founded his label, ‘Yahoo Boy No Laptop’ (YBNL), in 2012, saying it was a move to avoid extravagant spending.
