Fresh off a highly acclaimed nightlife showcase at the Africa Blockchain Festival in Kigali, renowned nightlife curator and entertainment strategist, Paulash Panache, is preparing to elevate the atmosphere in Cameroon as he joins the lineup for this year’s CIMFEST, one of Central Africa’s most anticipated entertainment events.

CIMFEST, which draws over 10,000 music lovers daily to its venues at the Buea Mountain Hotel and Molyko Stadium in Buéa, is known for its blend of music, culture, art, and lifestyle experiences. As the festival approaches, Paulash revealed that the latest creative concept titled “A Night in Tokyo,” is a thematic design inspired by the vibrant traditional and contemporary culture of Japan.

He describes the idea as an immersive world that merges visual artistry with cultural symbolism, creating a space that will immediately capture attention.

Despite the tight preparation schedule, Paulash explains that the Tokyo-inspired aesthetic was chosen for its originality, cultural richness, and feasibility within the limited time available. He emphasized that its unique festival-style colour palette, ambient lighting, and scenic elements will transform the venue into an environment that encourages constant engagement, visual storytelling, and memorable photo moments. He adds that the Japanese cultural motif offers a blend of drama and elegance that fits perfectly into the kind of high-energy, visually captivating atmosphere CIMFEST is known for.

“Tokyo’s cultural vibrancy is expressive, magnetic, and deeply immersive,” Panache said while discussing the concept. “This theme allows us to deliver something fresh, achievable, and unforgettable. It’s an experience people will want to photograph, share, and talk about long after CIMFEST.”

This year’s festival, scheduled to run from 19th to 22nd November at the Molyko Stadium in Buéa, will adopt the tagline “The Vibe of the Year,” with activities lasting from dusk to dawn. In addition to the Tokyo-inspired creation, CIMFEST will feature a weeklong programme of entertainment, including CIMFEST Unplugged, The Afro Groove Night, Y.O.L.O (You Only Live Once), Luxury & Lights by Martel, and the Final Frenzy Beach Party, which will close the festivities on the 23rd of November.

As African entertainment continues to capture global attention, Paulash’s involvement in CIMFEST is expected to push creative boundaries and elevate the festival’s nightlife blueprint. His history of innovative productions positions him as a key contributor to the festival’s ambition of delivering world-class, culturally resonant experiences.

CIMFEST has grown into a major cultural event in Cameroon, attracting fans, creatives, entrepreneurs, and global tourists. With Paulash now adding his signature touch, expectations are high for a festival edition that blends African vibrancy with international cultural influence in a way that promises to be both memorable and transformative.
